What are my treatment options?

If you have been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, it's important to discuss the treatment options available, along with the risks, side effects and benefits of each option with your healthcare team. Although there is no cure for multiple myeloma, there are many treatments to help you manage the disease and have an active life. The goals of treatment also include elimination of myeloma cells, control of tumor growth, and side effect and pain management.
